THE SEAGLASS LASS

        All jewelry featured here is designed and created by just me.  It is a passion of mine to explore the offerings of the seashore whenever and wherever I can.  It starts with the meditative process of just searching.  Interesting pieces of mature seaglass are combed and added to my collection to be chosen later for pendants, matched up for earrings, etc.  By the term mature, I mean well frosted, smoothed pieces of glass.  I also gather pottery shards that are beautiful enhancements to the seaglass as in a charm bracelet, or as separate items of jewelry.  It is fascinating to imagine that some of these "finds" might in fact be over 100 years old!


        I have been making seaglass jewelry for over 10 years in midcoast Maine, and find its appeal still very prevalent. My work is in no way mass produced .... each creation is individually crafted. The unseen value in my jewelry is the time I devote to the combing and subsequent selection of pieces.
